Oliver Wilson Perpetual (Beef Project) Award 2022-2023

This perpetual award is given each year in Oliver Wilson’s memory to the top beef member. Oliver Wilson was a long-time 4-H supporter, especially in the beef project. The County Field days were also held at his ranch. In 1990, the Wilson family started a perpetual beef award in his memory. Each year a top beef project member is selected to be the recipient of this plaque. This award will be chosen based on the youth members’ application and qualifications.

Eligibility

Oliver Wilson, 25 Year 4-H Supporter

Minimum qualifications - All 4-H members are eligible to apply for the Oliver Wilson recognition if all of the following are true:

be 9-19 years old by Dec. 31, 2022 (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior member) for the 2022-2023 4-H year
be currently enrolled in the Glenn County 4-H Program;
be currently enrolled in a 4-H Beef Project;
have completed two or more years of 4-H;

Submit an application and a current photo for publicity purposes by Monday, July 3, 2023, to the UCCE Office. You may email, mail, drop your application in our drop box, or bring your application into the UCCE Office.
