Under general supervision of the Director, the Admin Asst. 2 will assist the research and extension efforts of UCCE Central Sierra Multi-County Partnership (Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado and Tuolumne Counties). This position will be the first point of contact communicating with the public via walk in customers and phone calls and will maintain consistent and regular open office hours to the public. This position will serve as receptionist and support for the UCCE office staff, Advisors, Master Gardener Program volunteers, CalFresh Healthy Living-UC Program, and 4-H volunteers. Duties include but are not limited to: purchasing office supplies; word processing; record keeping; database maintenance; assist in the production and duplication of reports and education materials; maintaining/analyzing office equipment needs and repairs; and perform office related errands for supplies and materials for program needs. This position will also handle website and media support, answer general phone lines and emails, social media and video editing. Position will analyze, sell and maintain an adequate supply of UCCE and County publications for public use and sales.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
Pay Scale: $23.67/hour to $28.11/hour
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
