FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
IT’S TIME TO JOIN 4-H!
4-H, one of America’s largest non-formal education programs for youth, makes a major contribution to our nation by helping youth acquire knowledge and develop life skills that help them become self-directed, productive, and contributing members of our society.
If you are 5-18 years old, by December 31, 2021, you are invited to join a Glenn County 4-H Club. There are eight clubs located throughout the county. You may participate in a variety of different projects. Some projects include arts and crafts, sheep, quilting, dairy, foods, swine, beef, archery, goats, sports shooting, rabbits, tractor, gardening, and leadership to just name a few of the many projects offered throughout the county.
Youth may begin to sign up online with 4-H now or complete a paper enrollment at any time. REMEMBER.... Members must be enrolled in 4-H by Monday, October 18, 2021, if you wish to participate in the 2022 Glenn County Fair as Livestock/Animal Project Member. If you have any questions or would like more information about the 4-H program, please call the Glenn County UC Cooperative Extension Office at (530) 865-1107 and visit our website at http://ceglenn.ucanr.edu/Glenn_County_4-H_Program_286/Join_4-H/ or enroll online at https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in.
