Glenn County 4-H Members and Leaders Recognized
We celebrated the accomplishments of outstanding 4-H members and recognized our wonderful leaders at the annual Star Awards and Leaders’ Appreciation Event on Saturday, September 24, 2023, at Lake Elementary School.
The event planning committee had an ice cream bar full of various toppings ready for the guests to enjoy during the evening program. The Celebrate themed event was emceed by Lake 4-H Club Members, Addisyn Beams and Ellie Milne. Various awards were presented. Youth members have the opportunity to earn their Stars based on a member’s participation in eight categories of the Personal Development Report in their Record Book. Members must complete a Record Book to be evaluated for a star ranking. The recipients of star ranks were as follows: Bronze Star: Ry Stoltenberg (Lake 4-H Club), Wyatt Boehm (Plaza 4-H Club), Grace Hobbs (Willows 4-H Club), Isabella Morris (Willows 4-H Club), Allie Rodriquez (Willows 4-H Club), Eddie Rodriquez (Willows 4-H Club), Allan Rodriquez (Willows 4-H Club), Nivia Guerrero (Capay 4-H Club), James Keeney (Capay 4-H Club), Brooklyn Berens (Clover 4-H Club), Makenna Berens (Clover 4-H Club), Ripley Springstead (Clover 4-H Club).
