The CES 2 provides oversight, ongoing organizational leadership and program development and delivery for the Maximizing Food Sovereignty with Gardening and Food Preservation Training program. This is a short-term program that mixes growing and preserving food education to underserved communities. The incumbent will be responsible for the coordination, management, and delivery of education to community members through a combination of direct education and volunteer management. The incumbent will build and maintain an informal

network of partners, and align special education projects with UC-approved curricula and educational materials. This position's primary focus will be on conducting, managing and evaluating an education program to improve the environment of the community.

This position is a contract appointment that is 50% fixed and is scheduled to end one year from the date of hire.

Pay Scale: $21.07/hr. to $ 28.02/hr.

This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
