Many youth and adult volunteers have been a part of the Glenn County 4-H Council. As a community, we are all so fortunate to have built a strong program in Glenn County, utilizing the Council Volunteer Management Organization (VMO) model. Through the years, the 4-H program has grown and evolved across the state, including the governing structure. As of Monday, August 21, 2023, the Glenn County 4-H Council has sunset and has moved to operating under a new VMO model, the Glenn County 4-H Advisory Team.  This change is just another pivotal representation of the program’s growth and change. For the time being, the meeting agendas and meeting minutes will remain available on our website for historical reflection and data. For current information including meeting agendas and meeting minutes, please see the link https://ceglenn.ucanr.edu/Glenn_County_4-H_Program_286/4-H_Advisory_Team_and_4-H_Community_Town_Hall__12/ , “4-H Advisory Team”.

Council Constitution & Bylaws

All 4-H Volunteer Management Organizations (VMOs) must have a constitution and bylaws approved by the County Director, 4-H Staff and State 4-H Director. VMOs and 4-H Youth Development Program staff should annually review the constitution and bylaws to assure they are current with County and State 4-H Youth Development Program policies and practices. Revisions to the VMO bylaws may only be made with approval of the County 4-H Youth Development Program Staff and County Director.
