4-H Camp will be held at Camp Tehama in Mill Creek, CA this year! If you enjoy fishing, nature, making new friends or exploring the outdoors, then this 4-H Camp is for You!!! 4-H members and their friends are invited, ages 9-13 years old, as of December 31, 2021. Youth Camper Information & Application

4-H Camp 2018 Picture
4-H members and their friends are invited, ages 9-13 years of age, as of December 31, 2021. Cost is $50.00 which includes a shirt to tie-dye at camp. Also, an additional $65.00 for accident insurance, county and scholarship fees must be paid if you are not a current 4-H member. Please read the following carefully and contact the Glenn County Cooperative Extension Office at (530) 865-1107 if you have any questions.

Covid tests will be provided and are required for all attendees of the 4-H Camp. A negative test result is required to attend.

Glenn County 4-H Camp Youth Camper Application

Completed application packets are accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Each completed application packet will be date-stamped.  A completed application packet consists of: Camp Application and Emergency Contact, Child Release, Youth Treatment Authorization, signed Camp Rules, signed Code of Conduct, Waiver of Liability, and a $50.00 registration fee.  A 4-H Enrollment Packet will be available soon. (You will be notified when available.) Incomplete application packets will be returned.

Return the complete application packet to the Cooperative Extension Office, P.O. Box 697, Orland, CA 95963, by Monday, June 27, 2022.  You will be mailed more detailed information on what to bring and what not to bring, at a later date. If you have any questions, please call the Cooperative Extension Office at 865-1107.

 

Teen Counselor Information & Application

Being selected as a Teen Camp Counselor is an excellent opportunity to enhance and share your leadership skills AND provide an enjoyable experience for younger youth as campers. The major responsibility of a counselor will be to lead the campers. Think of this opportunity as a job. If this appeals to you, we encourage you to apply to be a member of the 2022 4-H Camp Staff.

All Glenn County teens, who are 14-18 years of age by Dec. 31, 2021, are eligible to apply. Prior 4-H camp experience is not required. You need not be a current 4-H member.

 

Teen Counselor Application

Camp Counselor Application 2022

Counselors attend the full length of the camp. Camp dates for counselors are Wednesday, July 20 through Sunday, July 24, 2022. Your full-time attendance is required. Fees are $25.00, plus $65.00 for 4-H enrollment if you are not currently a 4-H member. (Fee waivers are available for enrollment costs.) Covid tests will be provided and are required for all attendees of the 4-H Camp. A negative test result is required to attend.

 

Adult Volunteer Camp Staff Information & Application

The dates for the 2022 camp are July 20 through July 24, 2022for staff and counselors. Campers will arrive on July 21st and leave on June 24th. As you know, camp cannot take place without volunteers. Some adults have already shown interest in going to camp, but we need all adults to complete the paperwork and be an enrolled 4-H volunteer before attending camp. The adult staff camp fee is $25, plus volunteer 4-H enrollment if you are not a current 4-H volunteer (Council will pay for all leader fees again for the 2021-2022 4-H program year).

Glenn County 4-H Camp Adult Volunteer Application

Dates and times for all planning meetings have not been determined yet, but will be announced as soon as dates are available. All meetings will be held at the UCCE Office. To attend camp, adult staff MUST ATTEND two adult meetings. These meetings are very important for a successful camp. Applications are due Monday, June 20, 2022 to the UCCE Office.
